The Project is located in the upstream and middle reaches of Xiaohe River and near Ququgou Village at Songta Town in Shouyang County. The Project is environment-friendly and can improve the local ecological environment and benefit the people. When completed, it can ensure supplies of domestic-use water of 17.64 million m3 in the near term and 19.25 million m3 in the long term for Shouyang and Yuci. The project can improve 332,400 Mu of currently irrigated land, develop 20 ,000 Mu of irrigated land for resettled people, add an industrial-use water supply capacity of 20.37 million 17.64 million m3 and generate 5.862 million of electricity annually, bringing RMB135.08 million of economic benefits. Meanwhile, it can also improve the local environment, ease the water and power shortages in the region and produce good social results.When the project is completed, its annual sales revenue will be 34.75 million USD. The annual profit and tax will be 22.25 million USD.
